I came in this morning to check on our Lima beans we planted and our caterpillars in chrysalis... And look what I found:
All 5 are finally in chrysalis! Our "runt", I think many kids named Jerry, has finally joined the other 4 in their transformation from caterpillar to butterfly!
Now that they are in chrysalis, I had the nerve racking task of transferring the hanging chrysalis to the "live butterfly garden" netted container. Hopefully by the end of this week we will have 5 butterflies emerging from their cocoons.
Wow! You can see how amazing this process is!
Ok, we are ready for you to become butterflies now! (However we know it takes almost 2 weeks to complete the process.)
