Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Room 1 students and families! I am SO thankful for you! Thank you for all of the sweet goodies I got on Friday, especially the sweet class present with what you are thankful for! I loved it!
I am so blessed to have the best job in the world where I get to teach such wonderful kids who truly love to learn. I hope you all have a great day and a relaxing rest of your break!

Apex FUN Run!

This year's Fun Run was a success! The students in Room 1 ran for a combined 600+ laps and raised about $122 average per lap in pledges!!! Everyone had such large smiles on their faces even as they were drenched in sweat (and some mud)!

Here are some actions shots Mia Teruya, our school's amazing photographer, took!
Rounding that turn, Sebastian!

Go Nikos go!

Run your heart out, Jake!

Go Julia!!!

Mrs. Roll & Mrs. Glazer
Oh how good popsicles tasted after running 30+ laps!

We are soooo strong!

And a silly one, of course!

Thank you to everyone who sponsored, helped, or donated to helping MATES raise money. Your donations help to continue providing these kids the BEST education!

Happy Veterans Day from Room 1

Our Veterans are so brave to sacrifice much of what they love to protect and serve our country. Even though some things are very scary or very hard, we still do them or try to face our fears. Here is what being brave means to us...
